Bronze Medal Natalie Powell – Tbilisi Grand Slam 05.06.22
Congratulations to Natalie Powell, Bronze Medal at the Tbilisi Grand Slam. On the final day of the Tbilisi Grand Slam which was filled with action from the start. Natalie had a bye in pool B seeing her through to the quarter-finals against Netherlands fighter Karen Stevenson. Unfortunately Natalie was defeated by her opponent, Stevenson in the quarter-finals, after Natalie picked up three shido. Natalie defeated her opponent Chloe Buttigieg from France in the opening round of the repechage. 54 seconds into the round Natalie defeated Buttigieg with an ippon score. In the afternoon Natalie fought Audrey Tcheumeo from France for the bronze medal. Securing her bronze medal, Natalie defeated her opponent Tcheumeo with an ippon score.
