Irfon Judo Club gathered at the Greyhound Hotel on 11 August to watch Natalie Powell and Team GB compete at the Olympics.  The room was decorated with Club and BJA flags and bunting.  The event was well supported with a mixture of Club Members and Non Club members with between 50 – 60 people watching throughout the day.  The Senior Club Coach met with a local journalist from the Brecon and Radnor Newspaper who came to the Greyhound Hotel to interview Richard and also interviewed a junior member of the club.  At 18.00 hours, Richard, Senior Club Coach had to leave the venue and travel to Llandrindod Wells to give a live radio interview for Radio Wales where he spoke to Mai Davies on her Good Evening Wales Programme.  The Club has received tremendous amount of supporting messages and many local people and business have also supported and cheered on Natalie and Team GB at the Olympics.  The event was a great success and everyone enjoyed the day.
