Silver Medal for Natalie Powell  (-78kg).  After having a by in the first round, Natalie went on to compete against Sama-Hawa Camara, from France which Natalie won by an Ippon, which took her into the Semi final round where she was up against Ivana Maranic of Croatia, to win to go to the final stage with three shidos to two.  Unfortunately, Natalie was unable to compete in the final, due to an injury, so had to settle for a  silver Medal  after the win was automatically awarded to Luise Malzahn of Germany who she last fought in Miami.
