On 17 September 2011 – Police Sports  UK National Championships 2011, at Guildford, Surrey, to represent Dyfed Powys Police Force.  The Competition was held in the new Surrey Sports Complex which is one of the new training facilities for the Olympics 2012.  Gary Cole competed in the Mens -66Kg category and in the final fight Gary fought Adam Mee of the British Transport Police to win Gold.  Stuart Eckley fought in the Men Masters +90Kg category to win Bronze.  The Competition was well supported with many forces being represented on the day.  Senior Club Coach, Richard Jones who also travelled with them was very impressed with the facilities and the overall event was very well organised, with great results.   Next Year the competition will be held in Newquay, Cornwall and it is hoped that more representatives from Dyfed Powys will be able to attend.
